Hello, I’m Caitlin-Marie

My life story in a nutshell goes something like this: High school girl goes above and beyond when it comes to beautifying any and every school assignment that comes across her desk. Girl decides to go the route of private Art School, excels at design and graduates with Honors. Girl dives head first into the creative field absorbing everything she can about the industry. Fast forward several years and girl comes down with a severe case of wanderlust and decides to pack her bags and move to the epicentre of Europe - London.

BC Medical Association

The BC Medical Association (BCMA), the representative voice of physicians in the province of British Columbia, is a non-profit association for BC doctors. As with any NGO, every year the association produces an annual report for their members, and this past year chose Studiothink to develop a report around the theme of patient care.

My credits for this project include brainstorming with the team for three unique cover themes and design concepts, the execution of those three cover concepts, the design from start to finish, art directing the custom photoshoot, photoshopping images, and conferring with the printer.

Hairy Back Ranch

Hairy Back Ranch (no, I’m not making that name up!) came to us hoping to salvage some of the branding previously established by another design agency while still reinvigorating and bringing our own touch to the look since the client was not completely satisfied with their original end result. The refresh involved a brochure redesign, as well as an update of the tag, and finally the box.

I worked closely with the printer to ensure the right methods were used during production and to make certain there would be no feelings of disappointment on the client’s end again. From a one colour job on plain brown kraft cardboard to a full colour job on white board with lots of pop and a proper utilization of the client’s eye-catching photography, the end result has the client raving, just like we hoped.

Heath Tecna

Heath Tecna is the foremost supplier of passenger aircraft interiors and components worldwide, and for more than 30 years they have designed, manufactured and certified interior components for retrofit and original equipment manufactured aircraft projects.

With a very strict set of brand guidelines and requirements since their recent merge with Zodiac Aerospace, they came to us looking for a design that could bridge the gap between the two brands. I was involved from the very start of the design process, devising the layout, sourcing stock images along with the major photoshopping of the custom photography. I also was heavily immersed in the printing process, from speccing the stocks, dealing with quotes, and communicating back and forth with the printer.

Girl Friday Errands

Girl Friday Errands is the new start up company of Studiothink’s former Account Executive, Lisa, so of course she came to us for her branding needs.

My credits for this client include three original logo concepts, the design of stationery and other marketing collateral including a pamphlet brochure, posters, and newspaper ads, as well as two car wraps. I am most proud of the icon work I did for this project – an element that is utilized across the entire brand.
