My life story in a nutshell goes something like this: High school girl goes above and beyond when it comes to beautifying any and every school assignment that comes across her desk. Girl decides to go the route of private Art School, excels at design and graduates with Honors. Girl dives head first into the creative field absorbing everything she can about the industry. Fast forward several years and girl comes down with a severe case of wanderlust and decides to pack her bags and move to the epicentre of Europe – London, where she falls head-over-heels for everything English.

Steve Nash Corporate E-Book

The corporate program at Steve Nash was in need of some love and attention so I was tasked with creating an ebook design that was fresh and vibrant, in order to attract big bucks from corporate membership sales. This ebook was written by the content marketing team, and I took liberties as well, copywriting headlines to work with the tongue-in-cheek tone I envisioned for the piece. For the photography, I had the challenge of using strictly stock photography, but succeeded in avoiding any clichés that come to mind when talking about offices and workplace wellness.

Steve Nash Environmental Collateral

With a membership count of upwards of 100,000, new leads are the currency of the business for Steve Nash Fitness World and Sports Club. For this reason, the Marketing Department is always looking to keep the outward-facing environmental collateral fresh and attractive. These leadboxes were a refresh of the existing design and incorporate the latest imagery from photoshoots I personally commissioned and art directed. Meanwhile, the bus backs were a lesson in making complex dielines work with my vision.

MPW Prospectuses

The first major task of the redesign of Mander Portman Woodward was to create a new look for the series of prospectuses. These brochures remain the main recruitment tool for encouraging student enrolment, and with tuition costs exceeding £20,000 per year, it was crucial that the design evoked value for the expense while not alienating prospective pupils with a look too clinical and devoid of youth and personality.

Along with the whole design concept, I took responsibility for the art direction of custom photoshoots at the three colleges, arranged the quoting, proofing, and printing, managed stock levels and arranged distribution and mail fulfillment for overseas agents.

Empower Magazine

As Graphic Designer and Print Manager at Mander Portman Woodward college I was tasked with redesigning the entire library of publications and all marketing material for the school. Empower is a newsletter of sorts that is produced twice an academic year. I decided an elevated magazine style would be more in line with the upscale market MPW is a part of so I created a unique ‘EMPOWER’ identity, and created a template that allows for easy population for future editions while showcasing student work and photos.
