Hello, I’m Caitlin-Marie

My life story in a nutshell goes something like this: High school girl goes above and beyond when it comes to beautifying any and every school assignment that comes across her desk. Girl decides to go the route of private Art School, excels at design and graduates with Honors. Girl dives head first into the creative field absorbing everything she can about the industry. Fast forward several years and girl comes down with a severe case of wanderlust and decides to pack her bags and move to the epicentre of Europe – London, where she falls head-over-heels for everything English.

Girl Friday Errands

Girl Friday Errands is the new start up company of Studiothink’s former Account Executive, Lisa, so of course she came to us for her branding needs.

My credits for this client include three original logo concepts, the design of stationery and other marketing collateral including a pamphlet brochure, posters, and newspaper ads, as well as two car wraps. I am most proud of the icon work I did for this project – an element that is utilized across the entire brand.

These projects were completed while employed at Studiothink.

Veterans Transition Network

The Veterans Transition Network is a national non-profit initiative created to help re-integrate Canadian veterans with their families and communities. Involving a program developed specifically for decommissioned soldiers returning from duty that facilitates therapy utilizing the power of soldiers helping soldiers, VTN has seen incredible success with its participants and was looking for equal success with fundraising efforts.

Brought in as the freelance designer partnered with the marketing company Hatch Philantropic, I was responsiblile for all art direction, including that of the photography, as well as the creation of the logo.

Mainland Misfits Roller Derby Assn.

As the Marketing Director for the Mainland Misfits Roller Derby Association I was the leading designer responsible for the branding of the organisation.

After the logo was finalised through a creative contest promotion it was my job to create the stationery set to market the league and then to further establish the league’s presence with an original website design.

Lice 911

Lice911 was looking to reinforce their all natural approach to ridding the head of lice so I devised a design that incorporated natural colours and textures. Extensive photoshopping was required for this project as well as refreshing the client’s existing logo with a new typeface for the wordmark.

Overall the appearance is a great contrast on the shelf compared to the typical sterile, clinical packaging that is common for this type of product.

This project was completed while employed at Studiothink.
